Brno City Theatre

Since 2006 is Tomas Küfhaber a leading member of the musical orchestra of the City Theatre in Brno. Over the years, he had the opportunity to play in this theater many of world famous musicals such as Les Miserables, Chicago, The Witches of Eastwick, Evita, Don Juan, The Full Monty!, Fame, Flashdance, Funny Girl, Hello Dolly, Jekyll and Hyde, Jesus Christ Superstar, Joseph and his Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat, Johnny Blue, Cats, Beauty and the Beast, Little Shop of Horrors, Marry Poppins, Young Frankenstein, Mozart!, My Fair Lady, die Päpstin, Blood Brothers, Spring Awakening, Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs, Sugar, Titanic, Treasure Island, Whistle down the wind, etc. During these performances he played under the baton of Czech and foreign conductors. In his profession as a keyboard player he is occasionally returning to the piano as accompanist of a dance training or testing singers.
In 2015, Tomas Küfhaber got a job as MD in BCT, from the keyboard he controlled the band during the performances Mendel or Revolt of peas, The Angel and the Sparrow and Frank V.

Salon orchestra Brno

Since 2011, Tomas Küfhaber is a permanent member of the Salon Orchestra of Brno, which associates leading players of all three orchestras in Brno (Brno City Theatre, Janacek Theatre Orchestra and the Brno Philharmonic). During its production accompanies musical, operetta and opera singers; as well it can work as a dance orchestra at various corporate events or balls.

DIFA JAMU Brno, Orlí Street Theatre

Since 2012, he has cooperated with DIFA JAMU and Orlí Street Theatre. Besides work as an accompanist, he worked mainly like MD (Musical director) when he conducted from keys the orchestra accompanying the performance (Footloose, Steel Pier, Blood Sisters, La Boheme, Zvonokosy). During this practice he played several dozen of these performances, some of them he also partial or complete re-arrange. As part of this work he had the opportunity to cooperate with many dramaturgists and directors not only from the country but also from abroad.

Very special experience was for Tomas his cooperation at Steel Pier project with director Robert Gordon, who works as a teacher, director and musical expert at Goldsmiths University of London.

Practice with cruises

In recent years, Tomas Küfhaber returned with increasing intensity to work on large ocean-going ships. Here he accompanied with the band or as a solo pianist lots of acclaimed professional musicians and singers from around the world. Among the best known are: Bo Shannon, Julia Reich, Eddy Böhm, Kermit Gray, Craig Lemont Walters, Eric Emmanuele, Randall Cooper, Herbert Skibowksi and more.

Concerts with Ales Slanina

From 2013 Tomas cooperates with a leading singer of Brno City Theatre Ales Slanina by the preparation and implementation of musical concerts where the next of Ales Slanina perform other soloists and musicians of the theater. At these concerts Tomas Küfhaber participates not only as a performer (playing piano and keyboard), but he often prepares for individual songs as well arrangements.
